Terms and conditions
Bookings
Appointments must be made in advance. A contact number must be given at the time of booking.
We reserve the right to ask for a non refundable booking fee to secure your appointment. Missed appointments will incur a loss of your booking fee to cover costs.
If you need to reschedule your appointment, your deposit will transfer to the new date, up to a maximum of 3 months from your first booking date or 3 times of rescheduling. After 3 months or 3 reschedules your deposit/booking fee with be lost. whichever comes first.
If you pay your booking fee by PayPal and need to cancel giving 48 hours notice you will be given a full refund. If you pay by card using STRIPE and a refund is required a charge of 50 pence will be deducted from the total as we are charged for refunding by STRIPE. If the appointment is rescheduled the full payment will be transferred.
Appointments may be cancelled by you with 48 hours notice. We reserve the right to change the therapist without prior notice.
If in the unlikely event that your appointment will need to be cancelled by us, you will be given priority for the next available slot.
It is your responsibility to book the correct appointment as time is allocated accordingly and you will be charged for this time. Please do not expect to add to your treatment when you arrive at the salon. Please contact the salon prior to your appointment to check for availability.
It is your responsibility to find out what preparation is needed before your treatment i.e. exfoliation before a tan or a tint tests before tinting etc.
Consultations.
Please tick the consultation questions when booking online. Or fill in a form when you enter the salon prior to your first treatment. It is your responsibility to let us know if you have any medical conditions that may affect your treatment prior to attending the salon.
We guarantee our gels and acrylics for 7 days. Repairs or replacements during this time will be free of charge. After 7 days a charge will be made.
All treatments must be paid for prior or on the day of the treatment. Credit will not be offered.
All treatments must be performed on site at 63 Widnes road, Widnes Cheshire WA8 6AZ Please do not ask therapists to perform treatments offsite as this will result in their dismissal.
Product purchases.
Please ask for a receipt at reception when purchasing products as refunds will not be made without proof of purchase from this salon. Returns can only be made if the product is faulty or an allergic reaction occurs. It is our policy to only take products back within 30 days of purchase.
Gift vouchers
Vouchers are valid for 12 Months.
Gift vouchers: can also be purchased at reception or online and emailed to you directly. If a voucher is a special offer, you can only use it in the time specified.
If the voucher is of monetary value, you may extend the use by date by 6 months at a time up to 5 years maximum. If our business closes, we hold no responsibility to refund any unused vouchers. Any lost or damaged vouchers will not be replaced.
Gift vouchers can be used for products, treatments or courses. Online vouchers will contain a unique code that can be used to book online. Store bought vouchers need to be brought in to the salon to be redeemed. Gift vouchers do not need to be used in one go and can be used for several visits. Gift vouchers for a named treatment can be exchanged for a different treatment of the same value by prior arrangement with the salon.
Birthday club vouchers are sent to you only if you have joined our birthday club by filling in a form in salon. This form is valid for 2 years only. Your details will be destroyed after this time as per data protection rules. It is your responsibility to sign up again after 2 years. Your Birthday voucher is valid during your birthday month only and can only be used when you spend £20.00 in one visit.
Complaints
If you have a complaint please notify the salon at your earliest opportunity so we can rectify the problem. e.g. do not wait 3 weeks after breaking a nail before you let us know. If the salon is closed you can use the contact form on this website to record your complaint. If you are still not happy with the result you can put your complaint in writing to the manageress Mrs Linsey Jones or the Director Ms Susan Sothern and send to the salon or email it to [email protected] please include your contact information, the treatment you had, the therapist who performed it and the date it was completed. We endeavour to answer your complaint as soon as possible.
Data protection.
If you give any details to our shop site, any data you give them is between you and the shop, we do not receive or handle any card details or PayPal details apart from delivery details only and these are destroyed after a period of 6 Months.
Facial Club Membership T&Cs
1. Membership Overview
The Guinot Facial Club is a monthly subscription service offering clients exclusive access to professional skincare treatments and member-only benefits for £55 per month.
2. Membership Benefits
As a member, you will receive:
- One Guinot Hydra 1000 treatment per calendar month
- 10% discount on all Guinot retail skincare products
- 10% discount on all other Guinot facials.
- A complimentary welcome gift (valued at over £40) upon joining
- You can upgrade your facial by paying the difference between the full prices.
- Initial set up fee £55
- Membership is charged at £55 per month via recurring payment
- Payments must be made in advance of receiving monthly treatments
- Failure to make payment may result in suspension or cancellation of membership benefits
- All treatments are subject to availability and must be booked in advance
- Members are encouraged to book early to secure preferred dates and times
- Standard salon cancellation policy applies (e.g., 24–48 hours’ notice required)
- Missed appointments or late cancellations may result in forfeiture of that month’s treatment
- Monthly treatments must be used within the calendar month
- Unused treatments do not roll over to the following month unless otherwise agreed in writing
- Minimum commitment period: 6 months
- After the minimum term, membership continues on a rolling monthly basis
- Cancellation requires a minimum of 30 days’ written notice
- No refunds will be given for partially used months
- If you miss 3 consecutive months of treatments the membership will be automatically cancelled. No refunds will be given for unused months.
- Membership discounts cannot be combined with other promotions or offers unless stated
- Discounts are non-transferable and can only be used by the registered member
- The welcome gift is provided once per new membership signup
- Gift items are subject to availability and may be substituted with an item of equal value
- At 3,6,9,12 month of membership, you receive 25% off an exfoliator, mask, moisturiser, or eye cream. (One at each stage, retail price of up to £100) saving up to a further £77 in the first year.
- All treatments are subject to consultation and suitability assessment
- Elizabeth Mitchelle reserves the right to refuse or modify treatments based on medical or skin conditions
- Clients must disclose all relevant medical history prior to treatment
- Membership is strictly non-transferable
- Any misuse of membership benefits may result in termination without refund
- Elizabeth Mitchelle reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time
- Members will be given reasonable notice of any significant changes
- Elizabeth Mitchelle will not be held liable for any adverse reactions where medical conditions were not disclosed
- All treatments are carried out at the client’s own risk following consultation
